You become aggressive when matches don't go your way
You're seeking a high intense tournament atmosphere and level of play
I love a great game. But I’m building Club Circuit Pickleball for what happens beyond the score.
I believe some of the best parts of pickleball are the moments we laugh, support one another, and connect with the people we haven’t met yet - the future friends, favorite opponents, partners who have our backs, and familiar faces we’re genuinely happy to walk with onto the court.
I also know firsthand that camaraderie, team spirit, friendliness, laughter, socialization, and competitive play can absolutely coexist.
Decades of leading and organizing USTA tennis teams taught me just how special it is to be part of a team - to play for something beyond your own match, cheer each other on, celebrate together, and build friendships along the way. We wanted to win, of course. We also genuinely enjoyed being together and getting to know players from other clubs and teams. One never had to come at the expense of the other.
I’ve carried that same spirit into the in-house pickleball leagues I facilitate today, intentionally creating leagues where players can enjoy competitive matches while being surrounded by people who are kind, welcoming, social, and fun.
I know it works.
That’s why we’re taking that same spirit beyond the walls of any one club and bringing it to players throughout Club Circuit Pickleball.
And that’s what I’m inviting players to build with us.
A league that gives all of us, including me, more opportunities to have fun playing, enjoy polite competition, find our people, and experience the joys of being part of a team.
A place where we can enjoy great competition, laugh often, cheer for one another, represent our clubs, build meaningful friendships while still really, really want to win that next point and congratulating our opponents when they hit the better shot.
We don't have to choose between competitive play and being surrounded by kind, supportive people we genuinely enjoy playing with.
Pickleball is better when we have both.
So let’s mix up club play, meet some new people, play some great pickleball and bring to players the amazing pickleball community we can create together!

"Laugh often. Play competitively. Find your people."

Club Team Make-Up: 10-17 players
Match Night: 10 players on each Club Team = 5 Doubles Teams per match night
Number of Match Rounds: 4 rounds of matches ea. match night
Match Format:
Players play best of 2 out of 3 games.
Games 1 & 2 are traditional side out scoring - First two 11 win by 2 or to 15 whichever comes first.
If needed, the 3rd game tie-breaker is played with rally scoring first to 15.
For this first season that we are starting in the Twin Cities we are labeling the league as 3.0 +/- and are encouraging players to join who like games with pace, strategy, and would consider themselves intermediate players.
While you can fully be new to playing in a league you should not be a beginner player joining the league unless you are coming from tennis with a strong 3.5 rating or so and have a solid knowledge of Pickleball but are fairly new to adding it to your racket sports and are not afraid to be on the court where the ball could start to move fast and possibly some hard hit shots.
If you play in tournaments then it's likely you join the level that is offered that would be below a 3.0-3.5 level.
If you play in the OP at All-World Pickleball you play on their 3.5-4.0 level.
If you play in OP at other clubs across the Twin Cities you likely signup and play the 3.0-3.5
The '26 Twin Cities League Founding Season will start in October. Depending on the number of Club Teams we have the league will run 6-8 weeks of regular play and then we'll move to playoff.
We are still working with Clubs to solidify scheduling and will let Captains know as quickly as possible.
For this late summer season/session we will be starting with the following leagues:
Women's Doubles - Monday Evenings: 5:30pm warm-up, 6:00 - 8:00pm League Play
Mixed Doubles - Wednesday Evening: 5:30pm warm-up, 6:00 - 8:00pm League Play
For player ratings/level of play and dates of the season please refer to the FAQ questions for these.
* Club Circuit Pickleball Late Summer Season '26: $45 full-time players, $40 for subs - code "Founders'26" at checkout for $15 off through Aug 27th, 2026.
* Per match night you pay the club directly $20** for that dates of play through CourtReserve.
** For some clubs with membership perks such as discounts on league play, your price will be represented in your CourtReserve for the matches you play at that club. Away matches or at clubs you where you don't have any membership benefits match nights are $20 per night you play. The cost does not adjust for subs.
Players without and with partners are welcome to join. Team Captains are responsible for organizing their players and putting together each match night lineups. For those who do not have partners they will work to match you with a partner to play with.
We believe supporting our Captains is vital to their success and the overall success of Club Circuit Pickleball. With over two decades of being a captain and supporting other captains we know the support and appreciation that captains are in need of. For our Captains we host calls, trainings, provide tools, work with clubs, regularly gather feedback, and openly communicate with our team leaders to ensure they are well prepared and supported to do lead their team in a fun and successful season.
To say thank you for their leadership, league play is waved by the clubs and they receive 50% off of their Club Circuit Season Registration. For the '26 Twin Cities Founding Season, we are gifting the Season's Registration.
Yes! So long as there is still space in the league, we welcome groups who organize outside in the summer to join us in this Club v Club league. Submit a captain interest form and we will get in touch with you. If you'd like to follow that up with an email to us directly please email us by clicking here.
Submit your interest, clubs or teams you're interested in playing for and we will help to connect you. If you'd like to follow that up with an email to us directly please email us by clicking here.
It depends on the club. Let us know which club team you would like to play on and we will be sure to let you know what the specific rules are for that club. At the very least you will need to join the free or Club Circuit League level of membership at the clubs on Court Reserve in order to participate in the league as this is how you will pay for your match play.
